EPW - Patek Philippe, Genève, mvt and case marked for retailer Spaulding & Co. of Chicago, 46mm, 18K gold OF original PP.Co case with elegant bezel and rear perimeter having faceted onyx inset at upper and lower portions, rear with initials, gold cuvette with signature ring for Patek Philippe and retailer, cuvette also with 1922 presentation engraving, metal dial, SW-SS, lever escapement with counterpoise and capped escape wheel, wolf's tooth winding, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#199597. Comes as pictured with a 14 inch 14K gold chain. Gross weight of assembled watch 43.0 dwt (67.0 g). Gross weight of chain 7.9 dwt (12.3 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered micro-fine scratches; dial with lifting and peeling of surface finish at lower-right portion of seconds-register; fine hands, hour and minute with areas of oxide which are most notable at tips; case shows little wear, few pinpoint nicks to band, small nick to upper-left perimeter of rear, cuvette with a protruding ding at center caused by mvt center arbor, good engraving detail, onyx set in bezel and rear are all present though one at upper-rear has a notable chip of loss and one at lower-front has a small chip of loss; tight bow, crown shows light wear; glass crystal with glue excess at its seat. Chain in excellent cosmetic condition showing little wear.
